Let’s build the agriculture of tomorrow together

Let’s build the agriculture of tomorrow together. Whether you are a donor, researcher, company, local authority or producer, there are three ways to get involved with ASTRA: become a partner, join the organization or support our programs for agro-pastoralists in Niger.

Partnership

Building an agricultural partnership in Niger with ASTRA

ASTRA seeks to establish partnerships with:

Research & universities

INRAN, national and international research centers, universities. ASTRA offers a bridge to the field: participatory trial plots, access to producers, hosting of students and dissemination of research results.

Producers

Farmers' organizations, cooperatives, seed producers. Together, we identify needs, test suitable technologies and improve access to quality seeds and inputs.

Public sector

Government technical services and local authorities. ASTRA contributes to the implementation of agricultural and pastoral policies and to local development projects.

Technical and financial partners

Donors, foundations, international organizations. ASTRA designs and implements projects aligned with food security, climate change adaptation and the inclusion of women and young people (SDGs 2, 5 and 13), with monitoring of results.

Private sector

Input suppliers, agricultural companies and also value chain stakeholders. ASTRA facilitates producers' access to your technologies, equipment and services, with support for their responsible use.
